The following three Combat Arts:
|
|
|
combine a mix of game mechanics that distinguish them from Spell Damage Based Combat Arts and Weapon Damage Based Combat Arts.
These Combat Arts are affected by the following
Skills
- Combat Discipline has no direct effect upon these Combat Arts.
- Their damage is boosted with their own specific magical lore (Delphic Arcania Lore, Revered Technology Lore and Astral Lord Lore respectively), but not with Tactics Lore.
- Attack speed is affected by the magical lore and casting speed.
Attributes
The specific attribute which boosts the particular choice of weapon being used is applied as well:
- Strength for melee weapons
- Dexterity for ranged weapons
- Intelligence for staves
Applying the Item Modifiers
- If triggered by weapons, Leech life from opponents and Regeneration per hit can be triggered.
- Double hits, attack speed from weapon lore are not used. Since these Combat Arts do not use attack speed from weapon lores they have no negative penalties if a player uses too high a level weapon.
- All weapon Chance to Hit item modifiers are applied:
- - x and x% attack value
- - chance that enemy can't evade
- - reducing enemy chance to evade
- - ...etc
- Higher weapon damage results in better damage, i.e. Archangel's Wrath would inflict more damage if cast while having a polearm equipped than if cast while holding a dagger.
- While dual-wielding, only a weapon in right hand counts for the Combat Art damage (even though the values in the inventory window stated otherwise in the earlier versions of the game).
